Greetings Eagle Nation!!! My name is Mrs. Erica Williams, and I am the school counselor here at Goodman-Pickens Elementary for the 2024-25 school year.  When I first entered the school, I knew that I was among a team that shared the same passion and drive as I did for the students at GPE.  I have been in the counseling profession for over 6 years.  I started in mental health, but with a family history of educators, I knew my heart belonged in a school setting. I have worked with all people from elementary, middle, and high school in my hometown, Greenville.  However, foundations for our little ones start forming in elementary school and I take pride in being part of the building's support system.

I am currently working on an Ed.S. in Psychometry.  I will cross the finish line in December 2024.  I am a firm believer that the school counselor is the glue that keeps the school community together.  School counselors fill the gaps by offering support, breaking down barriers, and supporting families.  As the school counselor, I look forward to being a key player in cultivating success and growth among students facing unique challenges in the social, emotional, and academic aspects of life.  We, the EAGLES, WILL SOAR to SUCCESS the entire 2024-25 school year!
